« Steps for Success Saturdays (S4S): A full day of hands-on specialized instruction, S4S offer a range of college preparation workshops for middle and high school students and their parents. This unique approach utilizes community volunteers as college prep coaches and has a customized track of concurrent workshops for students in each grade level with parent workshops in Spanish. The curriculum covers intensive how-to instruction on taking the SAT or ACT; information on the financial aid process; assistance writing a personal statement (essay) for college applications and scholarships; and guidance finding a college well-suited to the student’s educational background and interests.
« Steps for Success Saturdays (S4S): Se dedica un día completo a la instrucción práctica y especializada. Con el programa Steps for Success Saturdays se ofrece a los alumnos de high school y sus padres una serie de talleres de preparación para la universidad. Se brindan indicaciones prácticas y exhaustivas sobre los exámenes SAT® o ACT®; informes sobre la ayuda financiera; consejos para escribir una composición con la que se pueda solicitar el ingreso a la universidad o una beca para los estudios superiores; así como orientaciones para buscar una universidad que sea adecuada para la formación y los intereses del alumno.
